Shakespeare Reading Series 2024

Shakespeare Readings are back at Hattie’s Hat on Sept 8

“Perséverance, dear my lord,
Keeps honour bright: to have done, is to hang
Quite out of fashion, like a rusty mail
In monumental mockery.”

Ulysses, Troilus and Cressida, Act III, Scene 3

Thank you for playing in the parks with us this summer! Your attendance and generosity helps us keep Shakespeare in the Park FREE for everyone.  DONATE

GreenStage’s Shakespeare Reading group met at Volunteer Park during the Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival July 13th, 2024 to read A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and had a great time. We plan to bring back more in-the-park reading events for summer 2025.

But we aren’t going to wait until next summer, we’re ready to read Shakespeare with you in a few short weeks! Our reading series continues at the fabulous Hattie’s Hat on September 8 with Troilus and Cressida.

Please join us at Hattie’s Hat in Ballard Sunday, September 8th for a FREE informal reading.

You can participate and read along or just sit back with a drink and listen.

What: Reading of Troilus and Cressida by William Shakespeare

        When: 6pm Sunday September 8
