Shakespeare Reading Series 2024

Read Shakespeare with us this July 25 at the Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival. Readings at Hattie’s Hat will resume in September!

Our Play Reading series is on the first Sunday of each month, 6pm at Hattie’s Hat. We’ll see you in the park during July and August, and be back at Hattie’s Hat in September.

Join GreenStage at Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill to participate or listen as we read The Comedy of Errors Saturday, July 25 4:30pm as part of 2 days of free performances celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival (SOTF). Learn more about the SOTF here.

Join GreenStage at Hattie’s Hat in Ballard to participate or listen along as we read selected scripts by William Shakespeare, resuming September.

You can bring your own copy of the script, and don’t worry if you don’t have one: we will provide some to use during the event, too.

Interested in learning more about GreenStage? These events are a great way to meet our volunteers and staff, and to learn more about how to get involved with Seattle’s free Shakespeare in the Park Company, from great volunteer opportunities to performance and production related support.

Let’s eat, drink, and be merry together as we spend time with Shakespeare’s greatest plays!
