ASL interpreted plays
This summer GreenStage offers 6 (six) free American Sign Language interpreted performances of our 2026 mainstage plays, The Winter’s Tale and Coriolanus. 3 (three) ASL interpreted performances are still to come, at Lynnwood’s Lynndale Park Amphitheater, and at Seattle’s Volunteer Park Amphitheater.
Lynnwood’s Lynndale Park Amphitheater is a favorite venue of ours due to the intimate setting in the woods. Lynndale Park Amphitheater was recently updated with additional seating and ADA compliant features. This venue fills up quickly, the space has limited seating and we recommend arriving at least an hour early. See Coriolanus with ASL interpretation at Lynndale Park Amphitheater on Thursday July 30, at 7pm.
Seattle’s recently revamped Volunteer Park Amphitheater is in one of Seattle’s oldest parks. GreenStage has been performing our Shakespeare in the Park shows here annually since 1993. Our mainstage shows take place in the Amphitheater, which is located on the west side of the main road, across and north a bit from the Seattle Asian Art Museum, and north of the reservoir.
See The Winter’s Tale at Volunteer Park Amphitheater with ASL interpretation on Saturday, August 8 at 7pm. See Coriolanus with ASL interpretation at Volunteer Amphitheater on Sunday August 9 at 7pm.
Backyard Bard Double Features
Enjoy both The Two Noble Kinsmen and The Tempest, smaller plays for smaller parks at Backyard Bard Double Feature. Backyard Bard Double Features run just about 2 hours, and happen every weekend during the 6-week 2026 summer tour.
Backyard Bard performances move around each weekend to parks near you. Backyard Bard Double Features continue at Sandel Park August 1, View Ridge Playfield August 8, and as part of the Quadruple Play closing day performances at Lower Woodland Park on August 15.

Double Feature Days
Double Feature Days include both 2026 mainstage plays, The Winter’s Tale and Coriolanus, performing one after the other at the same park space. Double Feature Days are a great day to stay all day in the park, perhaps picnic, enjoying free theater among the beauty of our local parks.
Our last Double Feature Day is part of the Quadruple Play closing day performances at Lower Woodland Park August 15, overlooking Greenlake.
