GreenStage Staff Spotlight: Amy Bogaard

G.S.: Amy, what is one of your favorite parks on the GreenStage tour?

A.B.: I love Lincoln! The space is nestled away and feels other-worldly, especially when you go to the bathroom and there are about 100 people having a party by the wading pool. Once all the equipment is dragged to the playing space, there is a sense of accomplishment in getting to the destination.

G.S.: Do you have a favorite memory related to your role as Stage Manager?

A.B.: The final show for 12th night, it was raining so hard and it was chaotic in an exciting and wistful way. I was soaked through, but we were still making decisions about what needed to go where and how to get the darn tent to collapse.

G.S.: Amy, what’s your dream picnic for watching Shakespeare in the Park?

A.B.: I would like to bring a dog. Not my dog, or else there would be no picnic. Probably some watermelon to share.
