Shakespeare summer camps at Queen Anne and Edmonds are still open.

Enrollment is directly through the Parks locations where the camp will be held. Camps for ages 5 – 17 run through August 7th. Each camp lasts one week. Camps range from 3 hours to 5 hours daily, with a FREE performance at the end of the week.
PEE WEE SHAKESPEAREANS – ages 5-8
Students explore Shakespeare use creative dramatics, storytelling, and art to create their own 10-minute version of a play loosely based on one of Shakespeare’s stories, using a few of his phrases, and some of his characters to be performed Friday at Noon.

Youth Theatre Camp – ages 9-17 CORIOLANUS
Students engage with Shakespeare’s language and learn basic stage combat (swords), as they rehearse a one-hour version of the tragedy Coriolanus. Family and friends pressure war hero Coriolanus to seek the highest elected office. But his country is divided, and he ends up outcast. With nowhere else to turn, he joins forces with a former enemy. Will he seek revenge or spare his country? Free outdoor performance on Friday at 3 p.m.
