Where to See FREE Shakespeare This Weekend 7/23 – 26

FREE Shakespeare in the Park continues for its 3rd week with the Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival’s 25th Anniversary!

We’ll be at Lynndale Park (Lynnwood), Fall City Park (Fall City), Lower Woodland Park, Othello Park, Volunteer Park, and Ober Park (Vashon Island) this weekend July 23, 24, 25 & 26. All performances are free, just show up and find your seat.

On the 2026 mainstage tour we present Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, a romantic tale of renewal, redemption, and the transformative power of time, directed by Erin Day. Also on the mainstage, Coriolanus, Shakespeare’s most political play about pride, power, and identity in a deeply divided country, directed by Linda Lombardi. Backyard Bard will be touring abbreviated productions of The Tempest and The Two Noble Kinsmen, directed by Garth Ball.

This weekend the Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival (SOTF) celebrates it’s 25th Anniversary with 21 performances by 13 different companies at Volunteer Park over two days: Saturday July 25 from 10am – 9pm & Sunday July 26 from 11am – 9pm. See the full SOTF schedule.

We offer three ASL interpreted performances this week, 7pm Thursday July 23 The Winter’s Tale at Lynndale Park (Lynnwood), and at the Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival 7pm Saturday July 25 The Winter’s Tale at Volunteer Park Amphitheater, and 2pm July 26 Coriolanus at Volunteer Park Amphitheater.
