2024 Twelfth Night at Volunteer Park Amphitheater

Shakespeare in the Park opens next week!

GreenStage’s FREE Shakespeare in the Park starts next week on Friday, July 11!

Our 2025 mainstage tour will present one of Shakespeare’s greatest comedies and fan favorite Much Ado About Nothing directed by Daniel Wood. Also on the mainstage, we are closing out Shakespeare’s 8 part history epic that we began all the way back in 2017 with Richard III directed by Ken Holmes. Backyard Bard will be touring abbreviated productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Taming of the Shrew directed by Nicole Vernon.

Opening Night! July 11

We’ll be at Seward Park, Volunteer Park, and High Point Commons on opening weekend July 11, 12 & 13.

Our first week always includes the unofficial kickoff to the summer theater season: The 25th annual Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival will be at Volunteer Park Saturday and Sunday, July 12 & 13. The festival features 11 local theater companies and 21 performances on three stages over two days, all free, free, free!

Pack a picnic, bring a blanket, and enjoy some great theater in the outdoors in our marvelous July weather.
