Read Shakespeare in the Park with us July 12

“Why, thou sayest well. I do now remember a saying,

‘The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man

knows himself to be a fool.'”

Touchstone (Act 5, Scene 1)

GreenStage’s Shakespeare Reading group enjoyed reading A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the park at 2024’s SOTF with more than 20 people and a few pets, too. We’re thrilled to bring this special in-the-park reading event back for summer 2025.

Immerse yourself in outdoor theater on three stages!

The 25th annual Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival on Saturday July 12th and Sunday July 13th at Volunteer Park.

GreenStage will be performing all of our 2025 summer plays at the festival, and this year we’ll be joined by 10 other companies performing a total of 20 shows on 3 stages over 2 days. And it’s all free. (We enthusiastically accept donations, though!)
