As we near the holiday season, we here at GreenStage are busy planning for our 2022 summer season. Though 2021 presented many COVID-related challenges–fewer parks to perform in, only one mainstage show, the uncertainty of gathering in groups–it was a very successful summer for us. Over 7,000 of you came out to see us perform for the first time since we were all isolated back in early 2020! Though nothing is certain, we anticipate that next summer will be closer to the kind of schedule you’ve become accustomed to.
GivingTuesday is coming up this November 30th.We ask that you please consider donating to GreenStage to help us continue to offer FREE Shakespeare in the Park, allowing more people to experience the magic of live theater by removing economic and geographical barriers. Income from performances covers around 70% of our expenses, the rest comes from grants and generous donations from our supporters. Consider paying it forward today for our audiences this summer. We will, of course, always accept early giving donations.
