2026 Shakespeare in the Park Season Announcement

Everyone at GreenStage wishes you a Happy New Year!

Thank you so much for your support over the past year. Summer 2025 was one of the best we’ve ever had and that’s thanks to YOU. We have already started planning a spectacular 2026, and we’re ready to share our 38th season with you.

On our mainstage, we will present The Winter’s Tale, a sweeping story of jealousy, loss, and redemption, alongside Coriolanus, Shakespeare’s gripping drama exploring pride, power, and the volatile relationship between Rome’s greatest warrior and the people he scorns. For our Backyard Bard series, we offer The Tempest, a magical tale of forgiveness, and the transformative power of art, and The Two Noble Kinsmen, a rarely staged romance that blends friendship, rivalry, and fate in a story of love tested by honor and chance.

The Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival (SOTF) will also be back in July, with an interesting twist to the schedule… The Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival will be held on a different weekend from our opening weekend. The Festival will still be at Volunteer Park; look for this FREE three-stage, two-day event on July 25 & 26, 2026.

More details about the 26th annual Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival and complete dates and more information for our complete 38th summer season will be coming soon.

In the meantime, if you can, if you are able, please give generously. Thank you so much for your support.

DONATE NOW

We believe in the transformative power of theater. Just as water slakes thirst and food satisfies hunger we believe coming together as a community and taking in the arts feeds the soul. That’s why we give these performances for FREE–so that everyone can participate without an economic barrier being in the way. If you believe that too please gift a donation to us today.
