Volunteer Ushers
We are currently looking for ushers for all performances of our 2010 Summer Shakespeare in the Park shows. This summer's shows are Romeo and Juliet and As You Like It.
The shows run from July 9 through August 14 and we need people who can be at one, two or more shows. Full performance schedule is available here.
Ushers are responsible for
- Helping the house manager set up for performances
- Arriving at performances one hour piror to curtain time
- Handing out programs and helping audience find seating, restrooms, etc
- Helping to sell concession items after the show
Sorry, but we can't pay volunteers, but it sure is fun to hang out in the parks all summer!

GreenStage is casting for its Hard Bard Macbeth.This is indoor 'extreme' Shakespeare. Lots of blood and fighting, sex and insanity. This is in the tradition of last fall's Titus Andronicus; check out some of the pictures on the website to get an idea.
We are looking for actors who can handle getting out of their comfort zones without losing their intensity and the text.Folks with a good sense of humor and a willingness to work. This ain't your English teacher's Macbeth.
Performance Dates: October 7th-30th, Thursday thru Sunday.
Rehearsals begin August 30th and will be weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
