We are officially halfway through our 33rd season of FREE Shakespeare in the Park. You have only three more weekends to catch these shows before they’re gone and the summer goes by fast! A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be performing at Seward Park all weekend long. Meanwhile Backyard Bard will be performing The Tempest this Friday at View Ridge Playfield, Saturday there will be a double feature with Twelfth Night at Marvista Park, and then Sunday they will close out the weekend with another double feature at Sandel Park.
It’s our 33rd season and though it’s a little bit smaller this year we will still be giving you the excellence you’ve come to expect from us. The season runs through August 14th. Our mainstage play is a 1970’s themed A Midsummer Night’s Dream directed by Taylor Davis. For our Backyard Bard series this year we have Twelfth Night and The Tempest directed by Ken Holmes.
Go see a play!
